We took part in Roots and Rhythms, a life-centred project exploring biodiverse, nature-connected farm futures at Lopemede Farm.
Funded by Innovate UK, the project was a collaboration between Eddie Rixon (Lopemede Farm), George Simons (Ruleo), Heather Knight (Arteri Studio) and Julian Ellerby (GET LOST STUDIO) and we offered additional ecological support, contributing especially to the creation of a set of ‘more-than-human personas’ to support nature-inclusive governance practices on the farm.

We’ve generated *4pop model predictions for individual farms and for Landscape Recovery Projects, which bring together many farmers to plan large-scale habitat restoration.
These model predictions can help land managers with assessing:
- current species distributions in their local area
- the ‘pollination service’ levels that wild bees provide on their land
- how much the pollinator-supporting habitats on their land might be increasing pollination services on neighbouring land too
- how all these things might change after habitat creation/restoration
